Rocky Mt. Camping Trip, 2011

Can you see the little baby mallards? There were 8 of them following mom upstream to a small lake. Three of them are on the rock. This was our hike to Cub lake.

Bear claw marks on the tree. A momma bear and three cubs live in the area. Looked for them but did not see them.

At Cub Lake the ground squirrels and chipmonks were thicker than fleas, all wanting to be fed.

Cub Lake, full of water lilies. 2.2 miles up we hiked to get there, then back down!
